Many extended health benefit plans in Ontario provide coverage for chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, and other rehabilitation focused services. Coverage varies between providers and individual plans, which is why we encourage patients to review their benefits or contact their insurance provider for the most accurate information regarding eligibility and coverage limits.
Our clinic offers direct billing for many major insurance providers whenever available. Direct billing allows eligible claims to be submitted directly to your insurer, reducing the amount you may need to pay upfront.
Coverage amounts, deductibles, co-payments, annual maximums, and reimbursement policies are determined by your insurance provider and individual benefits plan.
If direct billing is unavailable or not supported by your plan, we can provide the documentation necessary for you to submit claims directly to your insurer.
Many extended health insurance plans provide coverage for:
Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy (RMT), Rehabilitation-Focused Treatment.
Depending on your individual plan, services such as shockwave therapy, Class IV laser therapy, lumbar decompression, and cupping may also be eligible when provided as part of chiropractic or massage therapy treatment. Coverage varies significantly between providers and plans. Patients are encouraged to verify their specific coverage directly with their insurer.
Many plans do not require a referral for chiropractic care, acupuncture, or massage therapy.
However, some insurance providers and benefit plans may require a physician referral before coverage becomes eligible.
If you are unsure whether your plan requires a referral, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly before your appointment.
Some insurance plans provide coverage for custom orthotics and compression socks. Coverage requirements vary and may require documentation or a physician requisition depending on your insurer and benefits plan. If you have questions regarding coverage requirements, our team can help guide you through the process.
We currently accept: Debit, Cash, E-Transfer, Credit Card and AMEX payments are also accepted. A 2.4% processing fee may apply to credit card transactions.
Insurance coverage is determined entirely by your insurance provider and individual benefits plan. While we are happy to assist with direct billing and insurance documentation where available, patients remain responsible for understanding their own coverage limits, eligibility requirements, deductibles, and reimbursement policies.
